Inserting Images to Text Content

  1. In the editing mode, place the cursor to the location whare you would like to insert an image.
  2. In the toolbar, click the INSERT/EDIT IMAGE button , which opens the IMAGE PROPERTIES pop-up window.
  3. Click on the BROWSE button and select the image on your hard drive that you wish to insert.
  4. Click on the SEND IT TO THE SERVER button.
  5. Enter the IMAGE NAME (important for search engine performance and for the tools for the blind and visually impaired).
  6. Check the width and height of the resized image to be inserted in the text. The application will suggest the dimensions corresponding to predetermined values. It is recommended that all image dimensions on a website be the same, or at least be of the same width. You may change the dimensions, but they should not be greater than the dimensions of the original photo sent to the server.
  7. Set the ALIGN(MENT) of the image and text. With this, you will determine how you wish the text to behave around the image inserted.
  8. Set the PADDINGS.
  9. In the INTERACTION tab, you can set the action of the image when the mouse cursor moves over it or when it is clicked.
  10. Confirm the insertion of the selected imag by clicking on the OK button.

If, upon creating the menu item, you chose a page template that already contains a special location for visual/graphical elements (images), you may add them by clicking on the BROWSE button that appears in the image location. More information on the editing  of graphical content...
