Adding News Pages and Changing the Settings
News pages are a special type of menu items with predetermined space where news items will be added, and each news item has a predetermined space for the headline, date and content.
Adding a news subpage
- In the user bar, choose the STRUCTURE > MENU EDITING option.
- In the SELECT MENU ITEM TYPE dropdown list, select the 06 - CURRENT option.
- Click on the ADD button. A page for the new subpage's settings will open up.
- Enter the ITEM NAME (the name of the mebu item visible from the menu).
- From the dropodown list, choose SUPERIOR MENU ITEM OR MENU (position of the menu item in the menu).
- Select a PAGE TYPE that will determine the ratio (size, position) between news elements.
- Click the CONFIRM button. The System will create a new menu item and add it to the selected location in the menu.
News item display settings
- Find the news menu item in the menu and click on it. Once the page is open, click on the PAGE SETTINGS button in the top let of the user bar.
- In the CATALOGUE DISPLAY SETTINGS bar, choose the DETERMINE OPTIONAL SETTINGS.
- Choose the NUMBER OF LINES PER PAGE. When the number of news items on the page will exceed this preset number, the application will divide the news into several subpages so that each subpage will contain only the amount of news items preset by you.
- The DEFAULT NUMBER OF NEW ELEMENTS option determines the amount of space for the entry of fresh news that will pop up once you have clicked the EDIT button.
- The ADD NEW ELEMENTS option determines where the spaces for the entry of fresh news wil be added when you have clicked the EDIT button.
- In the CURRENT DISPLAY SETTINGS, you may switch off the DISPLAY OF THE TIME WITH DATE.
