Form sheet element settings

You may access additional online form settings by clicking the ADDITIONAL ELEMENT SETTINGS button to the right of the entry/selection field.

A few additional settings are shared by most online form sheet element types, but others depend on the element type. Additional settings specific for individual online form elements are explained with the description of individal element types.

Mandatory

For most entry and selection fields, it is possible to set the following feature: when a user who has not filled in all of the fields tries to send the form, a message will appear saying that mandatory fields have not been filled out.

Layout

You can choose between layout 1 and layout 2. This is the layout of the description in relation to entry or selection fields. In other words, you decide whether the entry or selection field(s) will be next to the field description or underneath it. The default layout is predetermined in the selected online form sheet type page, but can be modified for each separate form element.

Entry field dimensions

It is possible to set the dimensions (width) of entry fields (text, numerical, e-mail). We recommend using the default width. If you wish the entry field to be shorter, enter any width you want, although it must not be greater than the default width.
