Data Entry Elements
Entry fiellds are online form sheet elements that allow the visitor to enter data.
Text field (simple)
A single row entry field allowing the person filling it in to enter any text.
Editing and changing the settings of the element:
In the left field, enter the description of what the person filling in the form is supposed to enter into the entry field to the right.
In the additional element settings, it is possible to set the limitation of the length of the text entered. It is also possible to set the number of characters that the person filling it in is supposed to enter in order to make the entry valid. Spaces also count as characters.
Numerical field
A single line entry field that allows the person filling it in to enter figures and nothing else. When trying to enter other characters, a message will appear during the phase of submitting the data, warning that the value entered is not valid.
Attention: it is only possible to enter figures (numbers) into a numerical field. If spaces, hyphens and similar characters are netered into a numerical field, it will be impossible to submit the data (the system prompts an error), therefore numerical fields are not appropriate for phone numbers or numbers where interval number values (from - to) could be entered.
Editing and changing the settings of the element:
In the left field, enter the description of what the person filling in the form is supposed to enter into the entry field to the right.
In the additional element settings, it is possible to limit the number of characters that can be filled in.
E-mail field
An entry field where the person filling in the form can enter an e-mil address and nothing else. The system checks if the layout of the address entered is correct (whether it contains the @ character, a dot and a domain name), and not the actual existence of the e-mail adress. If the address has a wrong layout, the system displays a warning in the data submission phase that the address is not valid.
Editing and changing the settings of the element:
In the left field, enter the description of what the person filling in the form is supposed to enter into the entry field to the right.
Complex text field
An entry field comprising several lines, where the person filling in the form can enter any text. It functions just like a (single-line) text field, Večvrstično vnosno polje, v katerega izpolnjevalec lahko vnese poljuben tekst. Deluje enako kot tekstovno polje, le da je vnosno polje večvrstično.
